July 2022

  • July 15, 2022. UOKiK (The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection) approved the concentration, under which PPS supplemented its portfolio with a deferred payment service - BLIK Pay Later.

August 2022

  • Polish Payment Standard signed an agreement to purchase 100 percent of the shares of VIAMO, a Slovak company, a provider of P2P payment services and payments to businesses. 

November 2021

  • Contactless BLIK is available in 6 banks in Poland - Alior Bank, ING, Millennium, mBank, PKO Bank Polski and Santander Bank Polska.

December 2021

  • Citi Handlowy provides BLIK.
  • Now customers of all banks in Poland have access to BLIK.

March 2020

  • The global payments provider, Adyen, provides BLIK to foreign e-commerce platforms.
  • BLIK joins the European Mobile Payment Systems Association (EMPSA).

July 2020

  • Nest Bank and Polski Standard Płatności signed an agreement. Nest Bank’s customers will soon be able to pay with BLIK.

December 2019

  • Polski Standard Płatności implements the BLIK Request for transfer to a mobile Users will be able to send requests for refunds to those who owe them money.
  • Bank Pekao S.A. implements the BLIK transfer to a mobile.
  • BLIK transfers to a mobile available for T-Mobile Banking Services customers.

November 2019

  • PPRO becomes Polski Standard Płatności’s first international e-commerce partner. BLIK can be used to pay, among others, in foreign online stores.
  • Getin Noble Bank introduces BLIK transfers to a mobile.

October 2019

  • Polski Standard Płatności and Mastercard commence strategic cooperation enabling BLIK users to make contactless payments in physical stores.

July 2019

  • Spółdzielcza Grupa Bankowa activates BLIK payments.

June 2019

  • Getin Bank’s customers can deposit money with BLIK at ATMs of the Euronet and Planet Cash networks

  • Polski Standard Płatności and DXC Technology implement BLIK mobile payment technology in the United Arab Emirates

  • BLIK transfers to a mobile at Alior Bank become even easier. Users of the banking app know who they can make such a transfer to as a result of the marking of contacts registered in the service with a ring/BLIK icon.

March 2019

  • Polski Standard Płatności joins the Standardised Proxy Lookup programme, which will ultimately enable European bank customers to make BLIK transfers to a phone
  • Launch of payments from an advertising banner – a solution that is ideal e.g. for selling digital content sent to the customer by e-mail
  • Credit Agricole is the next bank that enables its customers to make BLIK transfers to a mobile
  • Recurring BLIK payments already available; from this moment, payments may be made with BLIK for cyclical services, namely streaming platforms, insurance premiums, bills, etc.
